constance | Quick note before braving the floor again

Hi! I am back from the nicest, most relaxing vacation I've had in years, and I am happy to be here in my home and in front of my computer posting to livejournal and catching up on everyone's news, but OH MY GOD in my absence the house has turned into a huge flea circus and I will dip the cats and bomb the house tomorrow but I cannot dip myself and I happen to be allergic to flea bites and so when I looked down at my stone-colored pants and realized there were about fifty fleas on them I freaked out and am now one enormous hive marooned on my bed and I have just taken two Benadryl and will be unconscious for the next twelve hours but in the meantime there is still luggage to get out of the car and I really really really never want to leave this bed again and I certainly don't want to have to put my pants back on and I feel horribly guilty about the cats although they seem fine.

The vacation was wonderful, though. Let's not forget that. Also I missed you.
