Linkfest 2006
Aug. 8th, 2006 11:41 amA few links I've been entertaining myself with:
Livejournal Roleplay:
quartertosix linked to this one not so long ago, and I bookmarked it and then forgot all about it. And then I remembered it. It rocks pretty hard -- an old-school Legend-of-Zelda-Esque RP, using your friendslist and interests. (substitute your lj name for mine in the address bar)
I'm In Luv with a Barista: for A Friend. You know who you are.
Chinese Ballet: As a ballet, it's pretty uneventful. But holy smokes, that is one flexible and well-balanced pas de deux.
Harry Potter Choose Your Own Damn Adventure Game for iPod: I haven't actually played this yet; I went looking for that old Brunching Shuttlecocks online version the other day -- does anyone remember it? -- and the links were all broken, and in my existential despair I ended up finding this one (which is apparently based on the brunching shuttlecocks version) instead.
Fabulous Stationery: I've mentioned before that I am a stationery whore, and I love personalized stationery an especially lot, and this is all just so dashed pretty that I could browse forever. I've already decided that I'm redesigning my resume and job-hunt stationery. And the DOL keeps telling me that I need to have my own personal business card, and so I shall make one of those, too.
Misfit Toys Photoshop Contest: Does this really need an explanantion or description? Yes? Well this is all I will say: there are lots of razorblades, ladies and gentlemen.

Date: 2006-08-08 07:47 pm (UTC)The nicest thing about these designs is that they seem pretty easy to emulate (because man, oh man, those prices). I think you sould make some Mod Fruitcake holiday cards this year!
