Oh, god, that sounds completely fabulous. I now feel like making a trip to Vienna just for that bread.

You know, though, I never met a fried bread I didn't like. Sopapillas and beignets and zeppole and elephant ears and good old doughnuts and I don't know what all else. And I've never had southestern fry-bread before, but clearly I must remedy that forthwith, and okay, my head is starting to spin. I wonder if I should be checking myself into some sort of twelve-step program. Is there one, do you think, for bread lovers? If not, there totally should be, damn it.
