Oh! Oh! I forgot to tell you about the pen that I wrote my reams of correspondence with this morning. It is so entirely lovely! It's a fountain pen THAT DOES NOT LEAK and has an extra-fine nib so that I can write very small, which I totally love to do, and with this pen my handwriting is just so ridiculously tiny that you would simply not believe how tiny it is if I told you. And did I mention that this pen DOES NOT LEAK, because it meant that I wrote steadily for about two and a half hours this morning and there is not a single smudge of ink on my left hand, which is pretty unheard-of for me, even with a regular pen.

It's not a perfect pen. It feels a little top-heavy in my hand. But it is quite pretty, and by God that tiny handwriting! AND IT DOES NOT LEAK!!!!!

The postcard! OMgosh, your teeny handwriting looks like typeset of some sort! It looks printed - like when non-profits try to get your attention by sending you mail that looks handwritten but it's not. It's lovely! And the pic! I didn't know you could draw. My neighbor got a glance at it and asked me what it was. I said Severus Snape from Harry Potter and she said "oh, looked a bit like a serial killer." Snippy. >: ( I love him and the long note. ahahahahahaha, I'm glad you got it! :D:D:D Your friend's comment is priceless, and I can draw a little, but only a little--and only draw. I am a draftsman at heart, you see.
