Quick note before braving the floor again

Hi! I am back from the nicest, most relaxing vacation I've had in years, and I am happy to be here in my home and in front of my computer posting to livejournal and catching up on everyone's news, but OH MY GOD in my absence the house has turned into a huge flea circus and I will dip the cats and bomb the house tomorrow but I cannot dip myself and I happen to be allergic to flea bites and so when I looked down at my stone-colored pants and realized there were about fifty fleas on them I freaked out and am now one enormous hive marooned on my bed and I have just taken two Benadryl and will be unconscious for the next twelve hours but in the meantime there is still luggage to get out of the car and I really really really never want to leave this bed again and I certainly don't want to have to put my pants back on and I feel horribly guilty about the cats although they seem fine.

The vacation was wonderful, though. Let's not forget that. Also I missed you.

I was just thinking of e-mailing you and being like OMG where are you?!?!

But then I didn't, and you posted! :D Did you go to visit Amy or is that some other time?

Oh, hurrah! You're back! I was just thinking this morning that I really couldn't take much more pining for you.

I'm so glad you had a great vacation, but sorry that the fleas apparently had a break-in-and-reproduce-like-mad fest while you were away. Once you've bombed and recovered somewhat from the hives, you'll have to regale us with an account of your (relaxing!) adventures.

Oh, that's the worst. We had them one summer, and it took us 2 weeks to finally get them all.

I'd huggle you but I freaking hate fleas. Bleargh! *scratchscratch*
