I have been hoping that Book 6 will bring Harry and Dumbledore closer together, as they should have been all along. This makes me hopeful that they will become friends right before Albus dies that I will enjoy HPB!

Also, looks like Harry's in the advanced Potions class. Ha ha. *thumbs nose at Snape*

I know! I'm not sure there was ever much doubt that Harry'd somehow worm his way into Snape's class, and I'm feeling too happy about HP in general to care that that HP-UK cover was pretty spoilery. In fact, the cover could make it clear that everybody except Mrs. Norris dies on page 64, and I'd be all OMG FOUR MONTHS LOOK HOW ADORABLE HARRY LOOKS <3 <3 <3 <3 YAyayyyaYAYAYyYAaY.

And D. and H. do look cozy and collaborative, don't they? I'm hoping the same thing you are!

Oh dear. I am a little embarrassed to admit that I reread--or at least, listen to--all five Harry Potter books two or three times a year. Ahahahaha, but having said that, yeah, I'm currently rereading/listenting, about a hour into SS/PS right now.

Really, that often? I've read OOTP only the once all through, and even the other books only twice. But I have reread my favourite bits several times - the Shrieking Shack scene in PoA and Snape's Worst Memory. I love my S/B/L!

How are you getting on writing that new fic, if you don't mind me asking?

I don't mind your asking, but I haven't really got any farther than I was when I last wrote about writing. Instead, I keep thinking of new ideas and playing around with them--I'm still in play mode, but at least, I keep saying to myself, I'm coming out to play.

And what about you? Did you decide which project was going to be your next one?

I've just finally seen the US cover - the UK covers were all over the newspapers here so I've been lazy about clicking links - and you know what, I think it's the best by far. It's not only that I love Pensieves, it's also the expressions on Harry's and Dumbledore's faces. Harry's in particular is very enigmatic. Anyway, never mind, I will end up buying the UK kids' version I suppose.

I've made loads of notes for one story idea. It isn't the one I really *want* to write, but the one that seems to have inspired me the most. I'm on night shifts at the mo so I haven't the energy to do more than ponder the plot and make rough scribbles. I'll transcribe the notes next week and see where that takes me.

Are you travelling for work again right now? How is that going? I would think it's quite fun, being a nomadic worker. That dull colleague isn't with you again, is she?

I think with the last two covers, Mary Grandpre's branching out, making Harry into a complicated--and somewhat unreadable--young man. I love the cover too. I wish I could get my hands on a poster print, and for the first time I'm considering a deluxe edition. (All those color illustrations!)

I can't wait to see what you're writing, even if it isn't your first choice!

I'm home again after traveling this week, yeah. I was alone, thank goodness, and one day I will share with you a catalogue list of reasons why I'm so relieved. The work itself went okay, and I was only a little lost sometimes, and actually, being on my own turned out not to be nearly so bad as I thought it would be. So really, much better than I'd been antcipating.

Not exactly doing potions. It was the British adult version that was especially spoilery, and damn it, access to this site's been restricted, and these ones in particular were such lovely big images, and I only saved the US version!
