See, every now and then I like to check to see if there's some available wireless network I can glom onto, and until last night no joy. But last night! The college girls who just moved into the house next door must have one hell of a kickass ISP, because not only was wireless available, but it is the fastest connection I've ever had.
It takes so little to make me happy--just give me a 9MB download in 15 seconds and I'm good for the night.
I think it sounds like good sport, actually. (My dad would probably do it if he had a laptop; in fact, he's the type to invent and build a device that would detect wireless networks as he drove through town; it probably wouldn't be that much more difficult than the thingie he built to change the channels of people's TVs from outside their houses back in the early 60s.)
9MB in 15 seconds? That's not even enough time to change your mind! I can't imagine such speed.
