(24) Patrón pineapple

I approve of drinks that taste like you could drink them with, or indeed for, breakfast. (This is something I have not done since, oh, Mardi Gras of maybe 1990, when I was drinking screwdrivers at 7am and ended up driving through Audubon Park -- a pedestrian-only park -- by accident, which please do not tell my parents because I really don't think twenty years and the arrival of middle age are enough to save me the epic grounding and/or family service projects which would ensue given that particular revelation. Still, though, I like the idea of it.) What can I say? I am a girl, and therefore entitled to drink girly drinks; it is one of the truly lovely things about being one of the ladyish persuasion.

what is a Patron Pineapple? Just Patron whirled with (fresh I hope!) pineapple? Or is it an infused tequila - not sure I like the sound of that...

Both, I guess? That's what the recipe says, anyway. I'm not a fan of tequila at all, ordinarily, but it seems that pineapple juice (yes, fresh!) can cure a whole lot of ills.
