I was getting dressed this morning when I realized that (1) it is St. Patrick's Day today; (2) I work in an office that will pinch the greenless on St. Patrick's Day; and (3) I wore my work-grade late-winter greens on Monday and Tuesday and that unless I put on a cardigan that was really kind of small, an olive skirt that's been sitting in a laundry hamper for a week, or a filmy summer-weight shirt guaranteed to leave me shivering convulsively within minutes of walking through the office door, I'd be having a baaad day. So I busted out the casual clothes for the occasion, and the office will just have to bear that, because I will not be pinched, damn it.

And that brings me to the point of my post this morning. See, I'm having another stalkery what-are-you-wearing day! And I want to know what you're wearing, if you dressed in green or didn't. As in my last leering post, you are welcome to go into as much or as little detail as possible.

I'll go first. Here's what I'm wearing:

  • thin short-sleeved kelly green t-shirt with stylized flowers in paprika, yellow, and a bit of teal

  • paprika long-sleeved t-shirt

  • khakis

  • socks striped in kelly green, burnt orange, pale blue, and navy

  • Brown Docs, mary-jane style

Now it's your turn.

My office has no dress code, and the pastor wears hiking boots even to preach funerals, so I can wear what I like. But I had already worn my brand-new green shirt yesterday, so today I was reduced to a pale sort of aqua-green T-shirt.

I don't think anyone in the office would have pinched me, except possibly Little Trouble, who in addition to having earned the nickname is also half Irish.
