I made it through NaBloPoMo, and of course I celebrated by totally ignoring livejournal for a few days. Isn't that what you're supposed to do?
It was a good month, though. Far from struggling to the end, I had no trouble coming up with awesome things to write about, and as a matter of fact I had plenty left over. I did miss bitching about things, though I'm pretty sure you didn't miss that; and I was kind of thinking I'd save them all up and write a venom-spewing post to wrap things up official-like, but it turns out that I've forgotten them all, which is an object lesson if ever I saw one.
Anyway, here I am, back to posting sporadically, back to being cranky when I feel like it. It's freeing and all, but since it turns out that I (most unsurprisingly) love to write about things that make me happy, I may just make this an annual November theme. Surely I can think of thirty more awesome things in the next eleven months. I think I can. I am optimistic that way.

Speaking of optimism, that brings us to the holidays. I haven't decided whether or not I'm making cards this year -- which I suspect means I'm not making cards this year -- but I'll be sending them out, and if you want a fancy newfangled storebought card, I'm up for sending it. I'm even up for sending holiday drabbles if you'd like one of those. I've got a poll up, but as always, if you're not crazy about posting personal info on lj, you can email me at throwawaybird (at) gmail (dot) com with your particulars.
And that reminds me that I haven't signed anyone's post for cards because I meant to get back to them but never did and now I have no idea who's sending them and who's not because I kind of suck, but I like getting cards too! And so if you have a post up you'd like me to visit, just let me know -- I'll go find it myself. Since I was lazy the first time round, I think I should have to do the extra work this time around, don't you?
