(20) dreams that turn out to be prophetic

As long as we're talking about attainable dreams. Which we totally are.

Full disclosure: I don't have any proof that this dream will turn out to have been prophetic. But I don't see how this dream could end in any other way but my making it a reality. It's such a good idea! And so easy to achieve! It would be morally wrong of me not to try to achieve it.

So in my dream I was running an after-school slayer training program, teaching a bunch of fierce little second graders to kill vampires. It was mostly just hand-to-hand combat and staking, and then I woke up. But I've been thinking about it all day; I could have a whole killing-evil school! Vampires, sure! And demons, and malevolent spirits, and zombies! Maybe even entirely human evil geniuses, if we have room on the curriculum.

Those of you with kids, you'd pay money to have them learn how to defend your home against paranormal threat, right?

Absolutely -- though I'm afraid the kidlet would find herself as far behind in evil-slaying as she did in gymnastics. It must be mortifying to be 5'3" and not be able to kickbox like the little kids. Maybe you need a separate class for older beginners and ex-timid-mousy-adult types.

Oh, I am very ambitious; my program will include kids of all ages right up to adolescence, at which time, of course, they won't be so interested any more. And your idea of adult classes is a great one! I mean, why spend an hour on a boring old elliptical machine when you can take out werewolves?
