I suspect perhaps the pastor at this congregation is having some sort of nervous breakdown. Or is taking a marketing class at the local community college.

I'm pretty sure it's the latter, since this is a church which bills itself all over town, in as many medias as possible, as being especially hip and 21st-century. Talk of sex in church! (I mean, even knowing that sex and the fathers and daughters are probably not meant to be linked in the way that this marquee implies they are.) Computer classes in church!

But a nervous breakdown in the form of increasingly weird and inappropriate marquee messages: that would be a sight to see. I think I'll take note of that sign whenever I pass, just in case.
