So today we drove to Atlanta to see the Tutankhamun exhibit, which was very well put together, not to mention fascinating, and which I wish I weren't completely broke because some of the gift shop stuff was miraculously wonderful -- I mean, a pen shaped like Tut's mummy, and when I say "mummy" I don't mean all linen-wrapped and sarcophagused, I mean like blackened and shriveled and lipless, WHOA I MUST HAVE DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN ASCENDED TO AWAIT THE JUDGMENT OF OSIRIS -- but that's not what I want to talk about. What I want to talk about is this: somehow at lunch talk turned to Last Meals, as in, if you were on death row and had a last meal coming to you, what would it be? Three out of four of us could answer that question really easily, as easily as if we sat around every day preparing for the moment when we were forced to order our very last, favoritest meal, which was a little surprising.

But anyway. How easily can you answer the question? And what would your last meal be?

*laughs* Yeah, I mostly refuse to go without one last taste of all my favorite things if I have any choice. And, other than the banana bread, I can make each of those dishes myself. Granted, the last is just opening canned fruit and adding whipped cream, but. *hands* Tasty, tasty.

I love milk! Mostly because it tastes better than straight water and goes so well with so much!

I love that your list is mostly comfort-food-type stuff. Mine is too!
