I'm trying NaBloPoMo again this year. Obviously, I guess, if you're noting the sudden jump in posting frequency round these parts. I actually made it last year, which woohoo(!), but it was a huge struggle toward the end there. I remember kickthebeat and I complaining to each other about the heartbreaking lack of memeage to pad out the entries; and so this year I come armed with several memes that I've been saving up. How well-prepared is that? A little too well-prepared, maybe. But hey, since I am averaging about two entries a month lately, I feel I need all the padding I can get.

Anyway. Here's the first meme, which I think I cadged from viedma: If you are reading this, post a picture of a cat in your journal. (Your cat, a lolcat, or someone else's cat. But preferably yours, if possible.)




I'm sorry to say that Rachel looks this hunted a lot. She's a craven in manner of Samwell Tarly; she can't help herself. But I love her a lot in spite of the cowardice, even when she's climbing on me while I'm trying to sleep.

I'm very well! Kind of tired today, but that's nerves as much as anything.

Well, I hope the nerves have settled down now :).

I'm good! The nesting process is over, and although I feel a bit lonely (I know NOONE here! All I do is work all day!), I'm happy I'm progressing on my path towards belly-dancing perfection and that I'm surrounded by a lovely city. I think I have to peruse its numerous attractions and start getting around!

The hot flashes have ebbed for now. Someone said something on my original post that makes me wonder if it's not related specifically to my time-of-month. I'm currently waiting to see!
