constance1. I got my property tax bills in for this year. (Thank God, by the way, that I pay my taxes in escrow.) Yes, bills in the plural, for apparently I have purchased not one property but two! :O The property my house sits on, which is a lot about 200 feet deep, and the property behind it, which extends another 50 feet or so. Huh.
2. Last week, after admitting to myself that I have not nearly enough self-discipline to lose weight if I'm the only person I'm accountable to, I joined Weight Watchers. In the past week, I have been eating constantly to meet my daily food requirements (and I won't even mention the staggering amount of water I've consumed!), to the point where I am feeling that I may never be hungry again -- and yet I have lost five pounds in one week. :O This eating healthy thing! It works! Who knew?
3. This was Barbecue Week at my work, and after a frustrating week of late nights spent unknotting organizational snarls, it's over. Today, I am out on my porch typing and sipping lemonade, and I will do nothing for the rest of the day but maybe go get some curry for dinner. I deserve a lazy day, and I'm happy to get it. So there.

Anyway, I'm still around, just spending a lot of time reading SPN fics when I'm online :D. What do you think of the new series? I'm really enjoying hedonistic, doomed Dean.
I'm away this weekend but maybe we can IM a week on Sunday?
