Tidings in this dark hour

Okay, so remember how I said that I tipped a coke into my laptop but it came through the ordeal? Well. It did not. On Sunday, without warning, it went all haywire on me and the display fizzled and since that time I've had no computer at home. Don't know when I will have one, either, though I'm working on it, but in the interim, I'll be online/answering comments somewhat spottily, depending on what I have to do at work.

I miss you already.

Nooooooo! I was so hoping the laptop would continue to act as impervious as it started out doing. Please let me know if this spells eternal beans and rice- I can at least send cookies or something to feel useful.

My condolences, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that a (cheap!) solution or repair can be had ASAP. I'll miss you desperately!

beans and rice for a bit, but by no means for months on end! And I'm back already -- you've no doubt been so busy with Phoebe that you've barely had time to check your friendslist! But I'm glad to be back and to see your cranky octopus. I missed you very much!
