Today has been the day when we've been trying to catch up on the important things at work: dog news, site tours, greasy spoon luncheons, go fug yourself, and such like. And livejournal, too, obviously, but also, and this is the thing, this one video on YouTube, which if it doesn't make me happy for the rest of the day will only be on account of my volatile nature and not because the video doesn't make the universe a better place by just existing.

Hahahahaha, I think the coworker who told me about the video thought I was a little crazy for being so uproariously thrilled by it. BUT I COULD NOT HELP IT. I loved the whole damn thing, from the moment Bruce Hornsby introduced the song as something he learned on his old Mama's knee.

I have a haaaaaard time with YouTube on my home PC, but I am going to try most determinedly to see this link you have given me! And if I can't get it to load this weekend, I am going to sneak into work early on Monday morning to watch it there. (Don't tell anyone!)
