Pardon me: your anomie is showing.

Hi and everything! I only just realized that it's been over a week since my last post. Since I had anything at all to say on lj, for the most part. I haven't got any real reason for not posting; I've been reading, lurking, struggling with new technology, the usual stuff, forgetting to do things like return calls and respond to messages. I'm sorry about that. I'll try to do better.

Not that there's much news to report. Instead, I have some links, things I've been preoccupied with lately, pretty things and interesting things:

Outrageously cute microbe dolls!
Tiny animals on fingers!
An addictive video game!
The most elaborate blog ever!
Dictionary fast like ninja!
Hit-and-run embroidery grafitti!
Deliberately unlivable housing!
Sex toys for music freaks!

I know! I was just tickled by that one.

The cutest crime ever.

I totally agree!

I KNOW. :D:D:D:D

My ears are ringing now from the shrieking of my children over those microbe plush toys. We kind of want them all, but if I had to choose, it'd be the e-coli and salmonella set. Which were your favorites?

Ahh, so you like the ones with dangles? :D:D I was hard pressed to come up with favorite sets, and couldn't narrow it down farther than three: the Venereal set, the Corporeal set (which now I think about it more is maybe my favorite by just a little bit), and the Menagerial set (which mostly I'd like to get just because I appreciate the poetic justice of Leory getting to rip a heartworm to shreds).

I got as far as the addictive video game. That was 6 hours ago....

I only stopped because I accidentally clicked on a link, and lost my little orange octopus thingy. sniff...

I know. I've been spending far more time than I need to, swirling around eating stuff smaller than me. :)

I've been thinking that there's something subliminal in that music, you know? KEEEEEEEEP PLAAAAAAAAAAAAYING, it says.

I love the music.
I also love how the little creature flows like it's in water. I guess it is, though..

water or space? I go back and forth on this. Mostly I think water, though. :)

[identity profile] lindyhoppr.livejournal.com 2007-02-27 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Ohh, I never thought space. I am trying to decide whether these look like fantastical creatures, or like microorganisms.

You know, I read what the game designer wrote about Flow. He states that it is meditative and non-addicting. He lies.

Yes, I agree that he is a liar with his pants on fire. :D
