I’m a slob, my boyfriend is a slob. We’re both in grad school, both work, very busy. So our apartment was a disaster. It was embarrassing to have anyone over. So I went on Craigslist and found us a maid. How can we afford it? Glad you asked: Our maid pays us. He’s this nice, middle-aged, submissive man, not much to look at, but he comes to our house once a week and scrubs the bathrooms, does the dishes and laundry, and anything else that needs doing. The spouse has a friend who tried that once. "I'm not a dom; I just wanted a white man to clean my house," she said. She does not recommend it; she says she got all tied up in his life, and he still occasionally calls her for advice and sympathy.
Oh, I can totally believe that; hell, you could conceivably get involved in the life of any person cleaning your house on a weekly basis, so with the added intimacy of a dom/sub relationship, involvement seems almost inevitable.
I don't suppose I'd mind that too much, although of course it depends on the sub-for-hire's personality as well. But I know perfectly well I'd make the world's worst domme.
