Wow, the Cockney Santa sounds great. One resource for this kind of question is Loganberry Books (http://www.loganberrybooks.com), which offers a "Stump the Bookseller" feature to locate lost gems. The off-duty Santa reminds me of one of my own favorites, recently brought to mind, The Easter Bunny that Overslept (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060296453/qid=1147699309/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/103-1481973-2983052?s=books&v=glance&n=283155). I guess I like holiday books.
I'm a little bemused by that resort, though. For one thing, it seemed like you were supposed to do all these exhausting activities involving horses or fishing or something, instead of lolling in your luxurious tent. You could just as well bring your own candles to the tent cabins at Yosemite, though my personal favorite for roughing it in elegant decadence is Harbin Hot Springs (http://harbin.org/). You sleep in a real room, but you can float in the hot pool under the stars all night long.
