Ahhh! Thanks to my reminiscing about this Father Christmas book, I've been contemplating a re-read-a-thon too. Not the picture books, most of which I can reread periodically at the bookstore, but the longer ones.
And I like your idea about Flag Day! Or maybe Memorial Day! I was going to save them for a just-for-the-heck-of-it no-occasion occasion, but this is better, I think.
