There is actually a great jazz standard called Perfidia. If it gets any better than that one, I can't imagine.
Sarah, my mother's mother's name, has always been my favorite. But my paternal grandmother was a Ruth. If I ever have a daughter, she might well end up a Ruthie. I think that would suit me just fine, and her as well.
