Remember that dental trivia web game I was working on a few months ago? I ran into the 19-percent statistic there, too, and had trouble believing it. Then I decided that the people who don't brush in the mornings are people who probably work nights and sleep during the day. Therefore, they are first-thing-after-sleep brushers, but not before-bed brushers.
I mean, judging from the dental publications I thumb through at work, there are plenty of people out there who aren't brushing regularly (and their mouths are all being photographed in excruciating detail). But 19 percent? I can't imagine it.
