My day, in easy-to-digest outline form
Sep. 15th, 2005 08:59 pm- That dog I might have been going to be getting
- Think I am going to get her after all
- Her family tried to make things work under changed family circumstances
- They are ready to call the attempt a failure
- We are going to introduce our dogs this weekend, I think
- she is
- black
- A Miniature Schnauzer, so small!
- ACTIVE
- Howl's Moving Castle
- Not as beautiful as Spirited Away
- Not as moving as Spirited Away
- Not as surprising as Spirited Away
- Still pretty darned good
- Harry Potter trailer
- :D
- :D:D
- :D:D:D
- Am very pleased at how engaging it looks
- :D:D:D:D
- State of the Toe
- It is slightly worse than last evening
- More swollen
- Pain replaced with numbness
- Discoloration spreading
- Tried to see a doctor for it this morning
- Established PCP is helping out on the Gulf Coast for two weeks
- Referral doctor not accepting my bleeding POS insurance
- Earliest appointment available with insurance-assigned doctor: December
- Other doctors given to me by handy 1-800 nurse line not accepting walk-ins
- Urgent Care facilities not in my POS network
- Available with $1000 deductible
- I do not have $1000 and if I did would not want to spend it on my little toe
- Only viable option is to visit local emergency room
- Feel like a total fool flouncing in to ER with a bruised baby toe
- Do not want to be the reason why GWB says we as a people overuse our health care privileges but cannot seem to avoid it on this occasion
- Must wait till payday--tomorrow--to go, because all discretionary cash spent on donations
- Will go tomorrow morning if toe looks any worse then
- Nurse line did say that it is possible that there were spiders--or insects of some sort--involved
- Owe public apology to non-lying, non-jealous
coco_palmolive - Must, sadly, retract entirety of last post
- Am, it seems, something of a poseur
