How I spent my evening

I was going to do that baby picture/grownup picture meme, but as I was going through old photos, I realized (1) that I don't have any photos of myself before the age of four, and (2) that my face is a little fatter and a little more tired-looking and my freckles have faded a little, but otherwise I look pretty much the same at four and at fourteen and at twenty-four and now.

So instead, I will make Dollies like everyone on my friendslist except [livejournal.com profile] woodyinvincible. Who should now go make one of himself, because it will make me happy.

Me, only at about a tenth my current body weight and with a head about two feet in diameter. I actually own this exact outfit.

My Mary Sue. I think something may be a little much, but I can't quite put my finger on what. Is it the hearts? The pink? The DEAD-EYED CATS? I cannot say. You decide.

If it'll make you happy...

This is me if I lost about a million pounds, clearly unimpressed with the backdrop.

And this is me once I become famous in Japan as the lead character in the movie Crazy Bomber Man.

Yes, now I'm happy. Thank you!

If only you had told me about Crazy Bomber Man, I'd have treated you with more respect!

I really love the dead-eyed kittens. I have been trying to decide whether they look drunk or ill or both. I also very much like the way they're staggering around.

They're actually dangling. From shiny, shiny stars with silver strings. Yes, it is true.

I plan on getting you a dead-eyed kitten of your very own, for your birthday.

hi, I followed you over from Laurelwood's journal - just randomly clicking around. If I friended you would it freak you out? Your journal looks interesting. : )

[identity profile] tofty.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
Of course! I've seen you on Laurel's journal, and any friend of hers...

I'm guessing you've at least looked it over enough to know that there's not a whole lot of HP content in here, but I don't mind if you don't. :D

[identity profile] aubrem.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
That's fine, I need to broaden my interests. : )

[identity profile] tofty.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Actually, you were on my former friendslist as well! It's been so long since I've looked at my old lj that I'd forgotten. :/

[identity profile] aubrem.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Really? What journal is that? ::is all confused::

[identity profile] tofty.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
[livejournal.com profile] tradescant. This is by no means a sekrit journal, btw! I just needed a change from that one, and since I am writing more personal than fandom stuff these days, a new lj seemed in order.

OH! I know you! : ) Small world, heh heh. I DO post fandom stuff, I hope that's ok - I think I'm pretty positive about it. I'm just a reader and am grateful fandom exists and entertains me is all. I also have filtered posts re gardening and my laughable attempt to train to walk a half-marathon.

I do enjoy real life posts and feel the need to cut back on fandom and broaden myself again - hence the friending interesting people - which ironically led me back to one of the first fandom people I friended. haha.

:D! Really, now that I'm not feeling as though every day spent in fandom is another 1000 years off in purgatory, I'm cool with fandom content. I'll post some here, every now and again.

And I totally understand the need to reinterest yourself in the outside world. It's why I'm here--so welcome aboard!
