His Face All Red, by Emily Carroll, is a perfect jewel of a horror comic. It's short and lyrical and genuinely creepy; for such a small and elegant thing, it sure does pack a punch.

I actually love her style, which tends to the retro-ish in line and color (you can check out her blog here), but this is my favorite. I can't remember the last time I was so shiveringly delighted by a story.
