I had a post planned about watching Slings and Arrows for the first time this week, how I liked it on a series level and was full-up on goodwill for the enterprise when I went into it, but then it took me a while to get used to the mannered rhythm of the actors (understandable, but jarring for me) and by the time I'd adjusted, I realized that I actually disliked most of the main characters in an irrevocable way, and I was going to tell you all about the ways in which I am hardwired to dislike people like them.
But then I saw Sherlock Holmes, as usual way behind the rest of you, and I haven't read what you've written on the subject because I was skipping SH posts on account of spoilers. I want to hear what you thought now, though, and I want to tell you what I thought, too. And here's a challenge for you: I want it in fifty words or less.
( Here's my review. )
Now you! Or have I missed that boat already? Is Holmes already passé?
