The best thing that's happened to me all day, even though I know it is Very Wasteful

A conversation:

Me: *looking at remains of restaurant table towards the end of dinner* You know, Anthony Bourdain says that you shouldn't wonder if the bread at your table is someone else's leftover bread or not, because it probably is. Most restaurants reuse uneaten bread.

Dad: *methodically sticks thumb through three dinner rolls* Not this bread, they're not. Goddamn it.
