First thoughts: the montage of the kids growing up was cheesy; the dragon looked alright but was much smaller than I expected; they've got some very good-looking actors to play the Champions; that brief aerial shot of the maze was terrific; Dan's new hairdo is silly but Rupert's suits him; I'm hopeful this movie might actually be good!
