I'm so glad your grandmother's doing okay. Hurrah for hearty stock! I'm lucky enough to hail from vigorous, lasty-like folk myself, so I know what a piece of luck that kind of family tree is.
I don't remember, amidst my work-related travels, ever getting ccokies with peanut butter chips in them or a jacuzzi upgrade. I never had a week quite like the one you've been having, though, so clearly they're meant to fall out of the sky in times of gross overwork. At any rate, I'm pleased to hear that they were there to comfort you.
