constance | (18) taking vacation days and not going anywhere

I've taken a couple of vacation days this week for friendly visiting, and today we slept late in advance preparation for the midnight DH showing tonight, had a leisurely carrot-cake-and-tea breakfast, took a long walk, went shopping, ran an errand or two, hit the nearest Sonic for a diet cherry limeade fix. And now we're taking a brief internet break before hitting HBP, also in preparation for tonight, and it's been a good day, made even better by the fact that it's not even a Saturday. Normally I'd just have a day left before I had to get back to work, but I still have three long glorious days left in front of me before I have to worry again about insurance bills and internet presentations, and I love being hit by this idea as I'm making my way through my day.
