constance | (17) carrot cake

At lunch today, octoberstory and I ordered a piece of carrot cake (a.k.a. nature's most perfect food), and it came out to us about the size of a Mini Cooper, an awesomely sweet seven-layer Mini Cooper smothered with cream cheese frosting, and we didn't finish half of it at lunch, so we brought it home and had dessert (after an outing to see Suddenly Last Summer, a movie so full of crazy that it was difficult for me to keep my eyes on the screen), and there's still cake left, y'all, gooey and delicious and calling my name.

I mean, anything's better with cream cheese frosting, and I think we can all agree on that. But carrot cake. Carrot cake.
