I would have had a difficult time if politics had been widely discussed, but they weren't. It was a baby-theme weekend, and a lot of us didn't really know each other, and let us by no means forget the opening of the college football season and the last bits of baseball before postseason, and with all those things to discuss, politics were neglected, and I can't help but feel that that was a lucky, lucky thing.
